The barefoot sensation on the exclusive oak flooring, the almost velvety surface of the bathroom tiles, and the soundscape of Vienna’s inner city combined with birdsong from the trees along the Danube Canal cannot be captured adequately in a picture or video.

The facade description comes directly from the architect Thomas Pucher, and I couldn’t have phrased it better: “The facade consists of individually foldable metal panels, constantly changing its appearance. It creates a living skin, like a pleated dress by Issey Miyake, that shimmers and shifts. Our building presents itself as open, closed, or half-open—or all at once—flirting with its surroundings.”
